CPCD strives to be known and respected for excellence in volunteerism among early childhood education providers. We see an organization where volunteers - both civic and family - work as partners at all levels, and where their contributions are embraced, valued and recognized. Volunteer involvement will be expanded and enhanced through exemplary training programs and tools. Our organization will welcome the diversity that volunteers bring to our work, and is committed to providing growth and development for those who choose to contribute their resources.
CLASSROOM VOLUNTEER
If you enjoy working with kids and making a difference in their lives, then this opportunity may be right for you. Help support our teachers in the classroom with fun engaging learning experiences provided to our youngest community members. With 72 classroom sites we are sure to find one that is close to you!
OFFICE ADMIN SUPPORT
Would you enjoy utilizing your skills or gaining some experience providing support in an office setting? With more than 360 staff members and 12 departments there is lots of work to be done. From data entry to community relations, we are always looking for extra support in all our departments.
GROUP PROJECTS
Who doesn’t like getting a huge project done with great company? We have various opportunities for groups to assist with. We currently operate 72 classrooms in partnership with 6 school districts throughout El Paso County and Fort Carson. Projects include painting, playground rehab and building projects just to name a few. There is sure to be a project that works for you.
INTERSHIPS/ PRACTICUMS
Let us help you meet your degree and certification requirements as you put the skills you’ve learned in school to the test, so to speak. Boost your resume for when you graduate and are ready to start your career as you establish connections and network for future opportunities. We offer placements in several fields of study.
